Your account & trial

This page covers the free trial, the plans, what happens when one ends, and how to manage or delete your account.

The 6-month free trial

Every new account starts with a 6-month free trial. No card, no checkout, nothing to enter up front — sign up and start collecting codes. You can open a plan any time before the trial ends to keep things running without a gap.

Three options, all for the same product:

Checkout is being finalized, so we're not documenting the exact payment step here yet. You'll be able to subscribe from your account before the trial runs out.

When the trial or a plan ends

Nothing dramatic happens, and nothing is deleted early:

  • New codes stop flowing in. Incoming codes pause while you're without an active trial or plan.
  • Your account stays put. Your profile, tokens, devices, and settings are all preserved.
  • Re-subscribe to resume. Open a plan and ingestion picks back up — no need to reconfigure anything.

The only thing that lapses is the live collection of new codes. (Existing codes are short-lived anyway — they're wiped within an hour of arrival regardless of plan; see "Privacy & encryption.")

Changing the interface language

You can switch the interface language from your settings; the choice applies to the whole app. Change it whenever you like.

Managing your profile

Your profile lives at /profile. From there you can change your name, email, and password.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account is also done from /profile, and it's thorough. It removes:

  • your codes,
  • your API tokens (otpb_) and device tokens (dvt_),
  • your paired devices,
  • your TOTP seeds.

This is permanent — once deleted, none of it can be brought back. If you only want to step away for a while, you can simply stop using the account; deletion is for when you want everything gone.
